        Faculty Load Update
Faculty Load is the total load being carried by a faculty member. The
load value is calculated based on the following formula:
        Course Hours
 x Course Weight x Number
of Students Enrolled, plus any thesis
or dissertation activity where the Faculty is assigned as a Committee
Member with a Weight greater than zero.

            - Course Hours
This value comes from the Course Credit hours in the Transcript
 Maintenance.

            - Course Weight
This value is pulled from the Faculty
 Schedule in Offering Maintenance.

            - Number of
Students Enrolled  Student Count for the course. This count
will only include students that have a blank or ‘-‘ grade. This means
that when calculating the faculty load all students who do not have a
grade for a class will be counted towards the faculty load. To ensure
that the faculty load is calculated correctly for the current term only,
all grades from previous terms need to be entered.

It remains as a workload contributor until
either 1) the course completion date passes, or 2) the student receives
 a grade.
