CAMS Enterprise Update Release 21.1.1

Revision Date: April 22, 2021

This document describes the items deployed in the 21.1.1 CAMS Enterprise Update Release. Enhancements, modifications, and system corrections are included and categorized primarily by module. Those items needing CAMS Manager attention have been noted as such. For detailed information and instructions on functionality additions and changes, refer to the online help files located in the CAMS Enterprise application. Note that report SSI files updates are not automatically installed on your site and must be applied by your institution. As part of the Update process, the CAMS Manager needs to merge updates from the TRSRptSSI/*.ssi file into the correct ssi* folder(s) that they have configured.

CAMS Security Update

For increased browser security, we have implemented some technical improvements in the CAMS Enterprise software that align with the Microsoft TLS 1.2 update. These improvements will include an upgrade to the version of Crystal Reports used by CAMS.

We need your help to roll out this release by upgrading your servers to Windows 2012 R2 or later in readiness and, if you have your own developer version of Crystal Reports and use or have used it to edit or create CAMS reports, you should upgrade it to Crystal reports 2020.

In order to enable CAMS Update Release 21.1.1, please contact the CAMS helpdesk via Support 4U and from the support window click “Register Issue” and select Module “General” and Submodule ”CAMS License Issues” so that we can schedule this service with you, as some required changes to the license will need to be handled by Unit4.

How to Update Report SSI

***CAMS Manager Action Needed

Report SSI files will be downloaded to your CAMS Enterprise \ TRSRPTSSI folder.

Compare the updated files in this folder with the files you have in your SSI* folders. If you have custom reports, you will need to merge updates from the TRSRptSSI file into your "custom" ssi file. Otherwise, replace your files with the updated file from TRSRptSSI folder.
