What's New In CAMS Enterprise - Update Release 20.4.0

This document describes the items deployed in the 20.4.0 CAMS Enterprise Update Release. Enhancements, modifications,
and system corrections are included and categorized primarily by module. Those items needing CAMS Manager attention have been
noted as such. For detailed information and instructions on functionality additions and changes, refer to the online help
files located in the CAMS Enterprise application. Note that portal updates are not automatically installed on your site
and must be applied by your institution.
General
- The Bulk Prospect Import functionality was developed to eliminate the need for a DBA to insert data into
the SQL back end before the data is actually imported into CAMS from the front end. This change streamlines the import process.
- COD Schema updated to 4.0.
- 2021 - 2022 COD Message Classes (DSDF22OP, PGMR22OP and PGRC22OP) are now available for import.
Registration
- Added the ability to switch directly to a page in the paged record sets in Degree Audit setup.
- Fixed bug where faculty sort order would reset after changing room assignment in
Registration > Offering > Offering Maintenance.
Financial Aid
- Included field for Additional Eligibility Indi-cator (AEI) for COD Export report located at
Financial Aid > Report > BYOR > ReportsTab.
- Added a check in Financial aid > Packaging> Prioritized > Award Methodology to check the
financial aid year of the coupled award methodology record (when supplied) to make sure it comes from
the same financial aid year as the original award methodology and corrected the copy package process.
- Added a unique index to try to prevent the possibility of double posting and award in prioritized packaging.
CAMS Manager
- On View Error Log we removed the hierarchical record-sets and display what arguments
and their values pass through on the error detail page.
Tools
- Changes in FADS report issued by Texas THECB.
- COD Schema updated to 4.0.

CAMS News:
We are proud to announce that on January 4, 2021 we will transfer our case management system to a new industry-leading tool,
further improving our delivery to you.
The new system is an integrated part of Community 4U and can be accessed in the menu under Service and Support > Incident.
Select Unit4 CAMS as the product.
Please note that your login to Community 4U will remain the same if you already have access.
You may have received a welcome email on December 15, 2020, but please note that CAMS Enterprise support tickets
will continue to be entered via cams.support@unit4.com until January 3, 2021, at which time access to the current system
through cams.support@unit4.com will no longer be available.
On January 4, 2021, you will be directed to enter your incident in Community 4U.
What are the benefits?
- A simple, easy to navigate user interface.
- A new Case Form layout that contains clear timelines.
- Access to specially designed forms based on the category you selected.
- Easily provide further information to support your requirement, like the impact it has on your business.
- You can export your lists as PDF, Excel, or CSV.
- The Updated Pell Table when available. When the 2021-2022 Pell table is released by Unit4, users will be
able to download it from Community 4U >My Solutions >CAMS >Software.
More information and guided tutorials will be provided in Community 4U in the coming weeks.
Please note that due to vast differences between the current CAMS helpdesk system and Community 4U, we are unable to
migrate open helpdesk tickets to the new system. You will be required to enter any open cases into Community 4U. The
CAMS application support analysts will manually update the new case with any details from the former ticket required to
resolve the issue once the incident has been entered. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate
your patience during this time.
