What's New In CAMS Enterprise - Update Release 19.4.0

This document describes the items deployed in the 19.4.0 CAMS Enterprise Update Release. Enhancements, modifications, and system corrections are included and categorized primarily by module. Those items needing CAMS Manager attention have been noted as such. For detailed information and instructions on functionality additions and changes, refer to the online help files located in the CAMS Enterprise application and/or the updated PDF manuals which can be downloaded from the CAMS Community Website. Note that portal updates are not automatically installed on your site and must be applied by your institution.

Due to RDS.DataSpace replacement calls, it is now necessary to re-register the Service Broker assembly required for web service access to CAMS Enterprise:

• On the CAMS IIS Server, open an elevated Command Prompt window
• Change your current directory to the CAMS Enterprise Installation Path
• Change your current directory to CAMSServices\ServiceBroker and run reg.bat
• Type exit and press enter to close the Command Prompt window

1. General

•  SUNY SIRIS reporting revisions.
•  Speede export test scores updated.
•  THECB revisions for Texas Reports.
•  Updated the 1098-T store procedure.

2. Admissions

•  Students with multiple disabilities can now have all disabilities recorded in CAMS for reporting purposes where required.

3. Registration

•  Updated Access Campus restriction functionality for the Registration module.
•  Improved performance of Master Courses in Registration.

4. Billing

•  CAMS will automatically handle 1098-T opposing transaction in the 19.4.0 release.

5. Financial Aid

•  Reincorporated the award modification audit in the top grid of Financial Aid Maintenance.

6. CAMS Manager

•  Integrated First Data Payeezy Gateway for Student Portal.

7. Tools

•  CAMS users have the ability to choose whether MPN and or EC are required before allowing a COD Export.
•  Optimized code to produce quicker results in Texas Report CBM001.
•  Corrected the Admission Test data in the Speede Export file.
•  Added a new layout set for CBM008 in layout table for reports.
