What's New In CAMS Enterprise - Update Release 17.4.0

  1. General

    1. Both “PaymentStatus” and “WasSuccessful” flags are now used to indicate payment approval for Alumni, Application, Graduate Application, and Student Portals.
    2. Added functionality to allow for custom College entries on the Education page for Application and Graduate Application Portals.

  2. Admissions

    1. Attendance and Campus Incident statistics have been added to the Student 360 page.

  3. Registration

    1. Transcript records should no longer extend into the report footer when 40+ courses are categorized within the same Term and GPA Group.
    2. Changes made to courses in Degree Audit Setup will now immediately reflect in the Setup BYOR.
    3. Recurring Sunday meetings for flexibly scheduled courses will no longer throw an error.

  4. Billing

    1. ACCPAC 5.4 GL Output Type will no longer include the first transaction as header data.
    2. Corrected an issue with the Accounts Payable Posting Report omitting transactions that share TransDoc, Date, and Amount values.
    3. Improved query response time on the Hold List by Category report when no criteria is selected.
    4. Increased the number of Posting Batch records available as BYOR criteria from 36 to 100.
    5. Student Portal ACH payments will now authorize registration from Unofficial to Official if Authorize After Payment is checked in the Payment Configuration screen.

  5. Financial Aid

    1. Term/Yearly Award Limits can no longer be exceeded using Single Packaging.
    2. Award Letters report, Columns by Package, will now sort chronologically instead of alphabetically.

  6. Development

    1. Constituent Transfer will now pick up the correct Graduation Term and Admission Date.
    2. Resolved an error that would sometimes occur when emailing constituents in Correspondence.

  7. Faculty

    1. BYOR reports referencing Rank will now list the current value by date.

  8. CAMS Manager Module

    1. Student Portal ACH payments will now authorize registration from Unofficial to Official if Authorize After Payment is checked in the Payment Configuration screen.
    2. Reporting on Glossary table entries will now show accurate user defined descriptions.

  9. Tools

    1. Updated the COD Export to include <AdditionalEligibilityIndicator> tag for the Pell COD Award Type per Federal regulations.

    Portals

    How to Update Portals

    ***CAMS Manager Action Needed

    Portal files will be downloaded to your CAMS Enterprise \ Portal Updates directory.

    If you do not (or have not yet) customized your portals, follow these instructions: MOVE all files from the CAMS Enterprise\Portal Updates\[PortalName] folder to the installation directory for the matching portal. Do not copy the folders but only the files in those sub-folders to the same sub-folder in the matching portal folder.

    If you do customize your portals follow these instructions: After making a backup of your customized portal pages, move the stock portal files for this update to the installation directory for your specific Portal. Then apply your customizations to the new, stock portal files.

     

  10. Faculty Portal

    1. Course attendance will now allow for equal Time From and Time To values without an alert.
    2. Unlocked Online Tests will now reset student scores to zero and reevaluate upon resubmission.
    3. Added functionality to allow image uploads for Online Test Sections, Questions, and Answers.
    4. Improved results when viewing printer-friendly Degree Audit information.

  11. Graduate Application Portal

    1. Added login restriction for Prospect records associated with an Undergraduate Entrance Program.

  12. Student Portal

    1. Optimized the Decline All button for Financial Aid which sometimes only marked one award record.
    2. College information now displays atop printer-friendly Grade, Ledger, and Transcript reports.
